Aluminium wine for summer
Readers letter (so far 0)
The Mommessin winery in France has launched a Beaujolais in an aluminium packaging. This summer wine, which is particularly easy to chill, is now also available in Germany.
Mommessin initially tested ractions to the wine in the USA and in Canada, and is now launching the product on the German market. A 2007 Beaujolais as well as a Chardonnay from the same vintage are available from the Brogsitter company. According to the manufacturer, the benefits of the new packaging lie in the fact that it is unbreakable, and that it has a fast heat conductivity compared to glass, making it possible to chill the wine extremely quickly. A sensor indicates when the wine has reached the corect drinking temperature. (WF)
