The price-fixing phase for the 2007 Bordeaux vintage is drawing to a close. Now that Château Ausone has announced its price, the list of estates that have declared a price is virtually complete.
Château Ausone was one of the last estates in Bordeaux to announce its celar-door price for the 2007 vintage. At 380 Euros per bottle this has been fixed at around 20 per cent below that of the 2005 vintage. This means the price-fixing phase is essentially complete. (WF)
