The Fachverband Unabhängiger Weinreferenten e.V. (FUW - association of independent wine lecturers in Germany) has elected a new board, and is set to promote the Private Wine Enthusiast diploma it issues.

At their annual general meeting, the members of the FUW have elected a new board. Ulrike Banse (Vinoscola, Düsseldorf) is the 1st chairperson, Stephan Jurende (Vinvia, Buchloe) is the deputy. The FUW currently represents 15 wine lecturers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The list of new members includes Martin Geiger (Nürnberg).

The Wine Enthisiast diploma is issued after candidates have successfully completed bronze, silver and gold level courses. (WF)
