The French foreign legion has created an own wine - the proceeds are to be used to support veterans.

A red wine as well as a rosé wine bearing the name L'Esprit du Corps are produced by a wine estate in Puyloubier, and sold with the AOC Côtes de Provence classification. 300.000 bottles of the 2007 vintage can be purchased either at the estate, or via the Internet homepage www.legion-boutique.com. The proceeds will be used to augment the pensions of veterans. (WF)
