Strong growth continues

Readers letter (so far 0)

The Hawesko Holding AG wine trading group in Germany has recorded strong growth in value sales and EBIT so far in the current 2008 financial year.

In the five-month period from 1.1. to 31.5.2008, the group recorded value sales growth of 10 per cent, while the operative result (EBIT) was more than doubled, compared to the same period last year. For the full 2008 calendar/business year, the company board expects to achieve value sales growth of 5 per cent, and an increase in EBIT clearly in the double-digit field, as well as a doubling of nett profits (after taxes and minority holdings). For 2009, the board expects to record a further increase in both sales and EBIT. (WF/Press release)
