Nomacorc to cooperate with Geisenheim

Readers letter (so far 0)

Nomacorc, the market leader in the field of synthetic closures for wine, will in future be cooperating with the research institute at Geisenheim. The aim of this venture is to study questions related to oxygen management.

Nomacorc is already working in close cooperation with AWRI at Adelaide in Australia, UC Davis in California and INRA in Montpellier. Now Geisenheim joins this circle of partners, and cooperation is also being sought with a fifth partner in South America. All of the institutes are working on projects related to oxygen management in wine. In future, Nomacorc plans to offer its customers customised closures for each type of wine, providing an individually defined oxygen permeability.

Wein-Plus has held a discussion on the topic with Olav Aagaard, head of research at Nomacork://www.verschlusssache-wein.de/News.386.0.html
