Wine-growing region (Slovenian Istria) in the Primorska wine-growing region in Slovenia, it stretches along the Adriatic coast between the towns of Koper and Piran. The vineyard area totals 2.400 hectares. The dominant grape variety is the red variety Refosk (Terrano = variant of Refosco), the region is also known as „Refosk country“.
