Weingut Sepp Moser
Bio-dynamic producer of extravagant wines. Nikolaus Moser is a freak of nature and does everything to bring this further into his wines.

Weingut Sepp & Maria Muster
The Muster wine estate lies in the southern Austrian province of Styria. It is directed by Sepp and Maria Muster. The first documentary mention of the estate goes back to the year 1727. The vineyards were recorded in the “Josephinischen Landesaufnahmen” (Agricultural Records of Emporer Joseph) in 1787. The estate with the house name, Graf, belonged to the domain of Arnfels. Grapes were grown here for many generations. On the steep sloping vineyards – mostly cultivated by hand – stony soils consisting of clay and silt sediments are predominant. In Southern Styria these soils are called “Opok”. The vineyards are now cultivated biodynamically in order to achieve the highest level of vitality in the soil, in the vine and …in the resulting wines. In the cellar, the wines are sensitively nurtured and given the possibility to mature and develop as naturally as possible: “We don’t want to impose a certain style upon our wines, but rather allow them the possibility to develop their individual origin, respective character of the soil and vintage. Our aim and goal is to produce long-aging, authentic and sensitive wines”

Winery Gritsch Mauritiushof
WACHAU - poor primary rock soils.. steep stone terraces.. unique landscape along the Danube with speciale climate conditions... Each of our wines is a synonym of the unique soil and microclimate of each individual vineyard. These special qualities are creating the great wines which are based not only on the traditional craftsmanship, but also on the unique philosophy of our family. Being a winemaker in this wonderful landscape means for me to carry on the heritage of our ancients! Franz-Josef Gritsch

Höpler wines
The Höpler winery is located in Breitenbrunn on the western banks of lake Neusiedl, in the Austrian province of Burgenland.  Our 29 hectares of cultivated vineyards face south east between the ‘Leithagebirge’ hills and Lake Neusiedl.  This creates a warm, humid microclimate in which grapes of the highest quality flourish.  In addition the contrasting soils of chalk, gravel and sand are rich in calcium as well as in slate and contribute to the unique complexity and character of our wines. Wines mature in either stainless steel tanks or large oak vats.  Some red wines and a small quantity of white wines mature in barriques made of French oak. Our focus lies in supplying first class restaurants, hotels and gourmet shops and we are privileged to have a number of top restaurants as clients both within Austria and abroad.  Over 50% of production is exported to Germany, Sweden, Finland, USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines etc.  In addition contracts with Austrian, Tyrolean and Eva Airways ensure our international presence.

WINZER KREMS
WINZER KREMS is the most significant producer of quality wines in Austria. Located in the famous single-vineyard KREMSER SANDGRUBE, WINZER KREMS vinifies exclusively handpicked grapes of 1.338 member wine-growers and a wine growing surface of about 990 ha. in and around Krems.

The Winemaker

Hiedler Winery
Actually, we don’t really know what the wine that our parents produce tastes like. But, it must be pretty good given the fact that lots of people come and take some along. Now that you are caught on the web why don’t you look around a bit. You can read about the wines, the winery, about mum and dad, and even about our great grandfather. However, don’t forget it is much more important to taste the wines - and then YOU tell us what they are like.
